New seasonal produce for May 2026
Love Organic is celebrating 8 wonderful years of organic produce! 🎉
We began in May 2018 with our weekly market at Timber and expanded to include our box scheme in 2020. We’ve loved being part of the growing organic movement — sharing fresh organic produce, dried foods, and condiments, while supporting local organic growers wherever possible.
We’re incredibly proud to grow organically and grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way. 🌱 Thank you.
Fruit specials this month
- Nectarines – Plump and juicy, these organic nectarines are ripened to sweetness in the Mediterranean sun.
- Apricots - Soft, sweet and juicy. Enjoy some while their short season lasts.
- Mangoes – Juicy, bright orange & green our Fairtrade organic mangoes bring an exotic tang to sweet and savoury dishes. The colour is not always an indicator of ripeness, (many varieties remain green when ready to eat). If the fruit feels soft to touch, it’s ready to enjoy.
- Mini Watermelons – These mini melons are grown in France and Spain, where they ripen naturally in the sun. Their smaller size also makes them easier to fit in the fridge.
- Cherries – Glossy organic cherries bursting with sweet, dark juices – a true highlight of the summer season.
Vegetables
- New season carrots from this week onwards!
- Broad Beans - Big, fat, beautiful fresh broad beans.
- Lion’s Mane Mushroom – A unique, shaggy white mushroom traditionally valued for both culinary and wellness use. Lion’s Mane can be cooked to be 'meaty' and has a mild, slightly sweet flavour.
- Olive Oil (500ml) – Made especially for Riverford by farmer Pepe Aguilera, this fragrant olive oil is cold-pressed from fresh Hojiblanca olives, a traditional Andalusian variety.
