UK summer season begins
Lots of new foods coming into Love Organic this month.
Organic food is truly seasonal for us. 🌱 so we await our favourites each month.
This month we have the delicious Four Acre Farm salad bags, great for BBQs and a firm favourite with our customers.
Watercress is back and succulent and fresh garden peas.
Specials this month for June 2026
- Medjool Dates- Moist, fudgy flesh with a deep caramel flavour they really are nature’s sweet treats. Naturally rich in fibre, potassium and antioxidants, they provide a gentle energy boost and satisfying sweetness whilst still being relatively low on the glycaemic index.
- Bunched Carrots- Fresh, vibrant UK-grown bunched carrots with naturally sweet flavour and beautiful crunch. Delicious raw, roasted or added to salads and soups.
- Bunched Beetroot- Fresh UK-grown beetroot with earthy sweetness and deep colour. Roast, steam or grate raw into salads for a nutritious boost.
- Mangetout- Tender young pea pods picked early so the whole pod can be eaten. Crisp, sweet and delicate, they’re delicious raw as a snack or lightly stir-fried, steamed or added to salads.
- Globe Artichokes- Magnificently sculptural with a delicate, nutty flavour. Rinse well, trim the stem and simmer whole in salted water for around 30–40 minutes until the outer leaves pull away easily. Serve warm with melted garlic butter, olive oil or a vinaigrette. To eat, pull off the leaves and scrape the fleshy part with your teeth, and you can eat the tender heart at the centre.
- Garden Peas- These super-sweet organic garden peas are delicious eaten raw straight from the pod, tossed into salads, stirred through risottos and pasta dishes or briefly boiled as a simple side vegetable. Fresh, tender and naturally sweet.
