Jersey Royals are the prince of new potatoes – sweet and nutty, with paper-thin skin and a waxy, creamy texture.
Since their discovery in the late 1800s, they’ve been grown exclusively by a small group of growers in Jersey; the island’s unique microclimate creates the perfect conditions for this very special spring spud to flourish. A whole year’s care goes into growing Jersey Potatoes, and the season is all too brief.
Sadly, our Cauliflower’s growth has been stunted by the cold nights, but they will be ready for the next orders. For greens we have Spring Greens rather than kale this week.
